Van Hire
You Pack, Load and Unload — We Drive
At Oakwood Removals & Storage, we understand that every move is different. Some customers want a full removal service, while others prefer to handle the packing, loading and unloading themselves to keep costs lower.
Our Van Hire with Driver service gives you the flexibility to do exactly that.
You take care of packing your belongings, loading the vehicle and unloading at your destination, while our driver takes care of the journey. It’s a practical option for customers who are comfortable doing the physical side of the move but don’t want the hassle of hiring and driving a large removal vehicle themselves.
Benefits of Our Van Hire Service
Our van hire service can be suitable for local and longer-distance moves across Redditch, Birmingham, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Walsall, the West Midlands and other UK destinations.
Depending on the vehicle and booking, suitable moving equipment may be available to help make loading and transportation easier, such as:
Moving blankets
Straps
Tail lift or loading equipment
Trolleys
Protective covers
Removal boxes and packing materials
We can also provide practical guidance on how to pack and organise your belongings so they can be loaded efficiently and transported safely.
A Flexible, Cost-Effective Moving Option
This service is ideal if you already have friends or family helping with your move and simply need a suitable vehicle and driver.
By handling the packing, loading and unloading yourself, you can choose a simpler service while still benefiting from professional transportation.
If you need additional help, you can also ask us about our Man with a Van, packing, furniture dismantling or full house removal services.
